We provide secure, high-quality language solutions in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.
We are seeking Ukrainian Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Ukrainian, spoken widely in Ukraine and global diaspora communities, is a priority Eastern European language often required for asylum, refugee, and immigration cases.
Responsibilities
Provide real-time Ukrainian English telephonic interpretation for USCIS officers, applicants, and stakeholders.Deliver interpretation with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism in immigration, asylum, and legal settings.Maintain strict confidentiality under USCIS / DHS interpreter standards.Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent / surge requests.Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance audits.Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Ukrainian and English.2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, legal, community, or government preferred).Familiarity with interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural awareness.Excellent telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3 / Tier 5 clearance.Compensation & Benefits
