Electrical Assembly Technician
Responsibilities :
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Electrical assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and company products.
- Integrate electrical components for final assembly.
- Troubleshoot complex or troublesome equipment and assist in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
- Align and adjust electrical equipment according to specifications.
- Operate standard testing or processing equipment.
- Use hand tools or bench type power equipment.
- Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality.
- Perform material handling work as needed.
- Handle and transport parts, and supplies between work areas for assembly, or other forms of processing.
- Know processes and documentation required.
- Advise leader of print discrepancies and write CAR.
- Performs other work-related duties as required.
- Ability to perform duties in a timely manner.
- Participation in the company quality process.
- Suggest design changes or recommend improvements in assembly methods.
Basic Broad Knowledge
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.Production and Processing - Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.Qualifications :
