Position Summary :

The Operating Room RN provides safe, efficient, and compassionate perioperative care while maintaining professional standards and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures.

Circulate and assist in the OR, ensuring a sterile, safe environment.

Implement physician-ordered plans of care and nursing interventions.

Accurately document all patient care and surgical activities.

Communicate effectively with surgeons, staff, and patient families.

Maintain supplies, equipment, and readiness of the OR.

Participate in call rotation and ongoing professional development.

Skills & Standards :

Proficient in computer systems used for patient care.

Adheres to Safe Surgery and infection control protocols.

Demonstrates teamwork, efficiency, and commitment to quality outcomes.
