Cabinet Engineer-Project Coordinator

We are searching for an exceptional, hands-on Cabinet Engineer-Project Coordinator to interpret blueprints for our production team. The Cabinet Engineer-Project Coordinator will be required to read and prepare blueprints and work instructions for the onsite cabinet makers and builders. The Cabinet Engineer-Project Coordinator  must  understand Cabinet Vision . This role acts as a liaison between our pre-production, sales and design team and our production team, as described above. You should also ensure adherence to stipulated building and safety codes during each phase of the project. To be successful as a Cabinet Engineer-Project Coordinator, you must possess above average computer software skills.  This role is located in the mountain states of the west!  Relocation will be needed!

Cabinet Engineer-Project Coordinator Responsibilities :

• Meeting with sales and design team to ascertain the intended functions and appearance of each space.
• Anticipating and informing production team of additional features and specifications.
• Give careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety.
• Suggesting appropriate materials and finishes.
• Measure and order parts and materials per the designs created by sales and design team.
• Create work instructions and orders for production team to follow during builds.
• Observing prescribed building and safety regulations.
