Qualifications

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following :

EDUCATION

High School Diploma / G.E.D. (required)

Minimum Experience Requirements

Two years of recent LPN experence (preferred)

License / Certifications Requirements

License Practical Nurse (required) BLS (required) IV Therapy (State IV Certification upon hire or within three month of hire / transfer (required)

Schedule : PRN (days)

Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and / or up to 20lbs frequently, and / or up to 10lbs constantly)

The Medical Unit at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital is a 26-bed unit with an average census of eight to ten patients and one swing bed department incorporated to med / surg that is skilled nursing. The department covers general medical, surgery, all post-op, generalized pneumonia, flu, wound care (on skilled nursing side) and physical therapy. The clinical nursing program is new and offers a different / slower pace of training where a new nurse can acclimate and have time to learn our department better. We seek candidates that are flexible and willing to cross train to accommodate labor and delivery if needed.
