Retail Media Operations Leader

Retail Media Operations Leader is a highly organized and strategic role that will lead the operations engine behind our fast-growing Retail Media Network. This role is critical in ensuring our media campaignsboth onsite and offsiteare launched with precision, measured effectively, and supported by scalable internal processes. The ideal candidate is a process-driven leader who thrives on operational excellence, has a strong grasp of digital media activation, and can bridge the gap between strategy, execution, and performance reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

Ad Campaign Activation & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end campaign execution across both onsite (e.g., sponsored products, onsite display, email) and offsite (e.g., Meta, Google, CTV, programmatic) media channels.
  • Oversee campaign setup, trafficking, QA, and performance tracking to ensure timely, accurate, and high-performing delivery.
  • Manage relationships with internal teams and external media vendors to ensure alignment and seamless execution.

Ad Operations & Workflow Management

  • Build and continuously optimize internal operations processes to scale the Retail Media Network efficiently.
  • Own ad ops systems and toolsincluding campaign trafficking platforms, ad servers, and partner integrationsto support accurate activation and tracking.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Retail Media Sales, Product, Analytics, and Merchandising teams to streamline workflows and campaign handoffs.
  • Financial Reporting & Revenue Operations

  • Lead financial operations for the network including media revenue tracking, billing validation, vendor reconciliation, and monthly reporting.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure accurate, timely revenue recognition and forecasting.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor pacing, campaign delivery, and financial performance across the network.
  • Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Build, lead, and mentor an ad operations team to support growing campaign volume and complexity.
  • Establish clear SLAs, KPIs, and QA standards for campaign execution and team accountability.
  • Serve as a trusted operational leader within the broader Retail Media team, driving transparency and excellence in every activation.
  • Required Qualifications

    Experience : 7+ years of experience in digital advertising operations, preferably in retail media, ecommerce, or agency environments.

    Education : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Deep understanding of media trafficking, ad platforms, reporting tools, and campaign lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience managing both onsite and offsite media campaigns, including platforms such as Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial tracking and reporting processes.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with retail media platforms and ad servers such as CitrusAd, Criteo, or PromoteIQ.
  • Familiarity with Koddi for campaign management or analytics is a plus.
  • Prior experience managing or scaling ad ops teams in a high-growth environment.
