Summary :   A Final Shipper verifies quantity, content and “ship to” information of merchandise submitted for shipment, prepares it for shipping and ensures that it is shipped in accordance with company manufacturing and shipping procedures and safety policies. This is a 1st shift - 8am - 4pm

Requirements

Essential Functions :

• Generate Quality Control certificates, box labels and tags as required by print or procedure.
• Perform final work order check and weld tags to discs as appropriate
• Pack all individual disc or holder items per procedure to ensure safe shipment to the customer
• Verify that all items of a sales order are present
• Complete packing list
• Re-pack order into master crate or carton, building wooden crates as needed using power tools
• Determine carrier / method of shipment per shop order and arrange for shipment accordingly
• Generate “ship to” address marking
• Provide any customer specified exterior carton marking, dimension and weights
• Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business need

Qualifications :

Education :   High school diploma or GED

Experience :   1-3 months work experience in a shipping or production environment.
