Senior Business Manager

Mantech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Business Manager to join our team in Doral, FL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Runs all business operations and sets and tracks goals across teams
  • Lead all business-related aspects of operations, including hiring new employees, managing budgets, and general business functions
  • Respond to Government questions, concerns, and comments within established deadlines, and proactively alert the Government to potential contractual or programmatic issues
  • Principal point of contact for AAS Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables, programmatic issues, and concerns
  • Oversee onboarding, budget management, and general day-to-day business operations

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, or related field or 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree
  • 9+ years of relevant Business Manager experience
  • Proven experience in budget management, human resources, general business functions, and Government contracting
  • The ability to lead teams, set and track goals, onboard new employees, and perform day-to-day business functions
  • Ability to respond to Government inquiries, address contractual and programmatic issues, and manage deliverables. Experience in hiring, supervising, and mentoring project teams and subordinate staff members

    • Desired Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of experience on AAS / FEDSIM Programs
  • Master's degree in business administration (MBA), Project Management, or related field
  • Experience with specific industry, domain related to the contract, and Government agency regulations and processes
  • Experience implementing process improvements and using data analytics to drive business decisions
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Government Contracting Manager (CGCM). Certification, experience, training with ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management; ISO 22301 : 2019 Business Continuity Management; and ISO 31000 : 2018 Risk Management
  • Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired

    • Clearance Requirements :

  • Must have an active Secret clearance

    • Physical Requirements :

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations
