LOCATION : This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Bryan office located at 301 North Main Street, Bryan, TX.

ABOUT THE ROLE :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Records Support Specialist I to join our Records Production team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of legal support operations—responsible for coordinating the retrieval of essential records for attorneys engaged in civil litigation. Your work directly supports our commitment to timely, accurate, and confidential service delivery.

Lexitas is a rapidly growing national provider of legal and corporate support services, including court reporting, medical record retrieval, process service, registered agent services, and corporate filings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Make 80–100 outbound calls daily to facilitate record collection.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all correspondence with clients and record holders.

Coordinate with Account Managers to ensure seamless fulfillment of record requests.

Provide daily written status updates to clients.

Manage an active caseload of 350–375 open orders.

Uphold HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive medical and legal records.

QUALIFICATIONS :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Familiarity with subpoenas, written depositions, and affidavits is a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Windows.

Legal terminology experience preferred but not required.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is not a supervisor position.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers whose first language is English.
