Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 1+ year of experience and prior travel experience for a contract at an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care hospital setting within the catheterization laboratory
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Rotating weekday and every third weekend call required
  • Epic charting system is used; experience preferred but not required
  • Patient population consists of adult cardiology and interventional cases
  • Locals accepted with a 50 mile radius requirement
  • Team environment with support from experienced staff
  • Modules required and must be completed during orientation
  • Return staff must have not worked at the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Facility cannot accommodate latex allergies
  • Free parking provided on site
  • Dress code and scrub color details provided during orientation
  • All time off requests must be submitted with application
  • Travel pairs are accepted

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
  • Previous travel assignment required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • CCI RCIS or ARRT R credential required
  • Wisconsin or compact state license required in hand for consideration
  • Pending license accepted
  • Must be able to work rotating call shifts
  • No first-time travelers will be considered
