Courier / DOT-4

Driver / operator of company vehicles. Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Performs other duties as assigned.

Shift : AM T-S

Minimum Education

High school diploma / GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and / or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
• Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
• Must meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations; this is a non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions per FMCSA guidance.

Starting Pay : $23.26 / hour

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 5 : 00 AM - 12 : 30 PM
