Staff Attorney - Special Projects

Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO), a non-profit law firm, seeks a resourceful and hardworking attorney for its Special Projects Practice Group. This position may be located in LAWO's Dayton office.

The attorney will focus on providing legal representation to Veterans, in areas such as housing, family law, and Veteran's Benefits. The position will also involve advocacy and outreach efforts with community-based partners.

Excellent legal and communication skills; experience with computer software and Microsoft Office and commitment to legal services required. Previous experience in areas of poverty law or Veteran's Benefits is highly preferred. Membership in Ohio Bar or ability to be admitted by motion or temporary certification is required.
