Logistics Lead
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Logistics Lead to be part of the team supporting the Logistics, ISR, and Next-GenTechnology (LOGIX) Task Order (TO). This role will work out of our Crane, IN location. This position requires you to be on site. The Logistics Lead works closely with HII Project Management and Government ERP to assist in managing the movement of various kits and other equipment to meet tight timelines in support of the LOGIX TO. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders on our cross functional teams to coordinate logistics activities, analyze supply chain efficiency and maintain equipment life-cycle management. What You Will Do
- Assist the Warehouse Lead with on-site warehouse support and day-to-day operations of the LOGIX assets
- Inventory and asset management; monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials, parts, and equipment; implement best practices for inventory control and asset tracking ensuring accurate reporting and documentation
- Assist the ACU Technician Team with ordering equipment, certification processes, training requirements and any needed travel in support of the government customer
- Assist with transportation logistics, including freight, shipping, and receiving to meet mission requirements
- Resolve all issues in a timely manner to ensure the time and secure delivery of goods and services
- Collaborate with the HII team to optimize the availability of critical components for the mission partner
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with required regulations, federal policies, and security protocols
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, including supply chain disruptions, delays, and quality control issues
- Communicate and coordinate with team and government customer
- Assist with inspecting, handling, and tracking all incoming material from start to finish; responsibilities include but are not limited to DD250 completion, meeting with government contact to inspect material, entering material into ATS, completing a DD1348 for material to go into ERP, completing a MMF to pull material from ERP, BKIT kitting, and completing a DD1149 in ERP to ship material to the customer
- Maintain a professional, effective, and collaborative relationship with all mission partners and other local stakeholders
- Serve as COMSEC Custodian as needed
- Additional duties as assigned or required
What We Are Looking For
