Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Overland Park, KS. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications. You will play a key role in architecting systems, implementing back-end services, conducting code reviews, and optimizing performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to ensure seamless integration and delivery of solutions.

Important Requirement

Because this position supports a Federal Contract, all employees assigned to this contract must be U.S. ; a person born or naturalized in the United States. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable system architecture
  • Implement and maintain back-end services
  • Write, test, and review clean, efficient code
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated software solutions

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Computer Science
  • Proficiency in Back-End Web Development, Software Development, and Programming, with emphasis on Laravel PHP
  • Experience with Relational Databases ( MySQL )
  • Hands-on experience with Laravel queues
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
  • Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting range : $70,000 – $150,000; Based on experience
