Communications Account Lead

Are you a creative communicator with a strategic mind and a passion for transforming complex information into compelling messages? Write On Target, a boutique communications consultancy, is looking for an Communications Account Lead who thrives in client-facing roles, delivers results, and crafts communications that spark engagement and action.

This isn’t just another agency gig. It’s a strategic leadership opportunity where your voice matters and your impact is seen.

As our Account Lead , you will be the primary point of contact for client relationships, responsible for overseeing end-to-end project delivery across strategic communications, technical writing, and HR-focused content. You'll manage timelines, budgets, messaging frameworks, and production workflows to drive success for our Fortune 1000 clients.

You’ll own :

  • Building and nurturing high-value client relationships
  • Leading communications strategy for HR and corporate initiatives
  • Writing, editing, and polishing technical and creative content
  • Collaborating with our internal creative team on print and digital deliverables
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards

✅ What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves :

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, or internal HR communications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts and deliverables simultaneously
  • Exceptional writing / editing skills—able to translate complex, technical topics into clear, engaging language
  • Strong project management chops (timelines, client calls, proposals, budgets)
  • Professional, proactive, and organized with a solution-oriented mindset

    • Bonus Points :

  • Experience writing for HR initiatives (benefits, DEI, internal change management)
  • Background in agency work or client consulting
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Asana, or similar workflow tools
