What To Expect A Claims Innovation Program Manager develops, implements, and manages strategies to improve claims processes through new technology and methods. This role requires expertise in insurance, program management, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. The program manager's main goal is to drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, and reduce costs.
What You'll Do
- Develop a forward-looking innovation roadmap for the claims department and identify and evaluate emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and automation
- Design, implement, and manage pilot programs or proof-of-concepts to test new technologies and business models. This includes defining success criteria and planning for expansion
- Work closely with teams across the company, such as engineering, product, data science, and claims operations, to develop and execute innovation strategies
- Analyze and enhance existing claims workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness, providing recommendations for improvement
- Use claims data and analytics to identify trends, pinpoint opportunities for improvement, and create dashboards to track claims frequency, severity, and loss ratios
- Serve as the central point of contact for innovation programs, managing communications and facilitating decision-making among various stakeholders
- Stay current on industry, market, and technology trends to champion innovative claims processing approaches and techniques
