Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with patient admissions, including orientation to unit routines and equipment.
- Provide direct patient care and respond promptly to patient needs or escalate as appropriate.
- Support nursing care plans by performing delegated tasks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked patient environment and ensure proper use of equipment and supplies.
- Participate actively in cost containment and accurate patient service charging.
- Engage in ongoing educational and performance improvement activities.
- Perform waived testing and maintain required skills per unit competency.
- Demonstrate commitment to patient satisfaction, throughput, and overall hospital function.
Education and Certifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification mandatory.Current registration with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry.BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.Experience and Skills :
