Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkCertified Journeyman Plumber with at least 2 years of experiencePossess the knowledge of various plumbing aspects (underground, over-head rough setting fixtures, water supply and drainage, gas, piping, and other plumbing systems)The ability to travel as needed (not optional)Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulationsPossess the knowledge and ability to operate equipment and tools of the tradeStructured and organized leadership skillsRESPONSIBILITIES
Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures (such as sinks, toilets, and water heaters) in commercial structuresCollaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other professionals during constructionPerform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, identifying and diagnosing plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniquesKeep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials usedAdhere to all plumbing building codes and regulationsEnsure all work meets safety standards and follows best practicesMust be detail-oriented, have a positive attitude, and be able to work as part of a teamReview blueprints, drawings, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and proceduresEnsuring the quality and timeliness of installed pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures while using hand and power toolsTrain and manage less experience plumbers and achieve significant improvements in their productivityPipe fitting, soldering, brazingThe ability to install copper, PVC piping and set fixturesThe ability to cut, thread, fit pipes, valves, and caulkingExperience in commercial plumbing such as corporate offices, dining establishments, and educational institutions, and federal contractsBe able to level earth to fine grade specifications using picks, shovels, and mix concreteBENEFITS
