Part-time Shift(s) : MON TUE WED THU FRI 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm

10 - 28 hours / week

OVERVIEW :

Working as Part-time Quality Assurance Support, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved with creating and maintaining final technical documents, compiling data, and supporting the quality team in everyday tasks. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :

o Interpreting detailed prints

o Understanding mechanical properties and chemical composition standards

o Creating and writing compliance and technical specifications to Fastenal and customer requirements

o Uploading completed documents to intracompany and public databases

o Communicating project status and results

o Certifying finished goods that conform with global environmental directives or customer requirements

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position :

o 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work

o Excellent written and oral communication skills

o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :

o Prior experience using Microsoft OneNote

Fastenal offers a 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION :

The base pay range for this position is $15 / hr -24.50 / hr. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and / or commission.
