Donor Services Coordinator

Coordinates and communicates daily assignment of donor services employees.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates daily assignment of mobile units within respective areas of responsibility
• Determines and communicates to the Donor Services supervisor / designee the long and short-range staffing availability
• Acts as the primary point of contact for Donor Services employees assigned to specific collection areas with regard to PTO requests or any other special scheduling exemptions
• Ensures that an adequate pool of available Donor Services employees is available on a week-to-week basis to support pending blood drives.

Education and / or Experience :

High School diploma or equivalent and one to two years general office experience.

Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds. Tasks may involve some manual dexterity, visual acuity, hearing acuity, and extended periods of time at a keyboard or work station.

Environmental Requirements :

Functions are regularly performed inside without potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
