Salary :
Peak Behavioral Health is seeking a pediatric Occupational Therapist to join its interdisciplinary clinic in Oklahoma City, OK. Come join our team as we provide a comprehensive and collaborative approach in helping children with autism and other disabilities. Our clinic includes psychology, ABA, OT, and Speech services. At Peak, we strive to help children and families reach their highest potential.
This position primarily consists of the following :
The Position :
- Assess individual fine and gross motor, sensory, and activities of daily living (ADL) skills
- Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans
- Serve as a team member for multidisciplinary evaluations
- Perform small group and individual therapy based on client needs
- Provide family education and training to assist in transfer of skills
- Be willing to supervise and develop a team of COTAs as the clinic grows
- Work in an outpatient, private-practice setting
- Maintain client records
- Maintain confidentiality of patient records in according with HIPAA and State and Federal Regulations
Qualifications :
2+ years experience working with children and families in a pediatric settingPrior experience working with children with autism or other intellectual disabilitiesMasters or doctoral degree in occupational therapy, and be licensed in the state of OklahomaExcellent communication skills with other providers and familiesFeeding experience is a plusMust have great problem-solving skillsAvailable full-time 40 hours / weekPhysically able to lift up to 50 lbs.Proficient in using technology (Must be familiar with Microsoft Word and Office and familiar with EMR systems)Passionate about helping children and their familiesBenefits :
