40 hours per bi-weekly pay period

Part time mostly pm shift and occasional weekends

May be required to cover 1st shift

Responsibilities of the Medical Laboratory Assistant position include :

• Collect specimens from patients of all ages using various collection devices.
• Monitor orders and collection lists assuring timely collection.
• Perform waived testing procedures, culture set up and assist in specimen processing.
• Organize, restock, and clean outpatient drawing area and all carts, trays and hand-helds.
