Clinical Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Clinical Coding Specialist (Fixed Term Contract).

Key Responsibilities

Lead medical coding validation for AI-generated documentation, ensuring accurate application of coding standards

Develop coding guidelines and protocols for systematic application of medical coding rules

Conduct quality audits of AI-coded documentation and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance coding accuracy

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional medical coding experience in healthcare environments

Expert-level knowledge of ICD-10-CM / PCS, CPT, HCPCS Level II, and medical terminology

Professional certifications such as CCS, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, or equivalent

Multi-specialty coding experience, including inpatient and outpatient coding

Strong understanding of Medicare / Medicaid guidelines and compliance regulations
