JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE : Lead Cycle Counter
DEPARTMENT : Warehouse
REPORTS TO : Depot Supervisor FLSA : Non-exempt
Position Summary : Our Inventory Lead position involves working with teammates to investigate discrepancies to ensure inventory is properly located throughout the warehouse.
Essential Functions :
- Work with team members to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform cycle counts as per the daily requirements and investigate discrepancies as they arise.
- Monitor and control inventory stocks to ensure inventory is properly located within the warehouse.
- Research, document and resolve inventory discrepancies using all available resources. Notify Supervisor of discrepancies.
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations, and stock levels.
- Assign tasks to Inventory Associates, monitor productivity and results, and provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace and focus on safety.
- Is punctual and consistently available for work.
- Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required.
- Work in a safe manner, follow all safety rules and report any potential safety hazards to management.
