Opportunity
We are looking for a seasoned and entrepreneurial Managing Director to lead the growth of our Valuation & Damages practice in the D.C. region. This role is ideal for a professional with deep technical expertise and a strong network in the legal and corporate communities. You will play a pivotal role in building the local practice, developing client relationships, and delivering expert-level service in complex litigation and valuation matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead valuation and damages engagements involving commercial disputes, shareholder litigation, intellectual property, and other complex matters.
- Serve as an expert witness in litigation and arbitration proceedings.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with attorneys, corporate clients, and referral sources in the D.C. area.
- Drive business development efforts to generate a minimum of $1 million in annual revenue.
- Mentor and manage a team of analysts and consultants.
- Contribute to firm-wide strategy and thought leadership initiatives.
Qualifications
CPA, ABV, ASA, CVA, or equivalent valuation credentials required.At least 15 years of experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, or litigation consulting.Demonstrated success in revenue generation and client development.Strong expert witness experience with excellent communication and presentation skills.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for leadership and practice growth.What We Offer
