Schedule : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required

Join Our Team as an Activities Assistant!

The Gardens at Millville is seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Assistant to help enrich the daily lives of our residents. This role is essential in promoting social, emotional, and recreational well-being through engaging activities and meaningful interactions—all under the direction of the Activities Director.

What You’ll Do :

Support residents’ emotional, recreational, and social needs with individualized attention.

Assist with daily tasks, including writing letters, making phone calls, or registering to vote.

Lead and support group programs such as crafts, games, music, painting, gardening, and other creative outlets.

Provide entertainment, communication, and relaxation activities to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Escort residents to programs and events, deliver mail, and assist with plant / pet care.

Contribute to community engagement efforts like newsletters, morning announcements, and fundraising projects.

Accurately document residents’ participation and progress in activities.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Prior experience in long-term care or working with seniors / disabled individuals is a plus.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude are essential!
