Overview
Are you a motivated entrepreneur who loves B2B relationships and wants to specialize in business insurance? Farmers Insurance District 46 is seeking a Business Insurance Agent (BIA) to join our commercial team. This is an opportunity to run your own business under one of America’s most recognized brands while receiving local coaching, marketing support, and high-quality leads.
What You’ll Do
Prospect and write new small business insurance policies (Commercial Auto, Workers’ Comp, General Liability, BOP, etc.)
Network within your local community and leverage Farmers-provided leads
Build relationships with small business owners and professionals
Partner with existing Farmers Insurance Agency Owners and help them cross-sell their existing agencies and deepen household relationships with existing customers.
Partner with your local District 46 leadership team for training, support, and incentives
Manage your own book of business with uncapped income potential
What You’ll Receive
Commission-based earnings on all new and renewal business
Monthly lead incentive program (up to $1000 / month)
Quarterly Performance Bonus eligibility — up to $4,000 / quarter

Local support from your District Manager and Commercial Specialist
The ability to transition into full agency ownership (capital waived if eligible)
Requirements
2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred (commercial insurance, financial services, or related field)
Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and competitive drive
Must hold (or be willing to obtain) Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses
Desire to grow a six-figure book of business with recurring income
