POSITION SUMMARY
The Kitchen Cook helps prepare mise en place for nigiri, sashimi, and cooked dishes with incredible attention to detail for the restaurant SHINGO.
RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND TASKS
Check freshness of food and ingredientsPrepare ingredients for nigiri, sashimi, handrolls, and cooked dishesHas incredible attention to detail in the food preparation process, mastering quality controlProvides Omotenashi service to all guests and teammatesInspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionalityMonitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standardsAdditional Duties and Responsibilities
Represents themselves with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.Maintains a Service-focused approach, with a caring and sincere attitude at all times.Punctual and professional for meetings, and in corresponding to clients.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Required Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GEDOne (1) years of Kitchen Cook ExperienceSKILLS / APTITUDES :
Strong guest service orientation.Great communication skills (Interacts in a professional manner with clients, management, team members).Identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.Ability to accept constructive criticism and work calmly and effectively under pressure.Ability to take directions and be a team player.Multi-task oriented and self-motivated.Passionate about food and beverage industry.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Solid knowledge of local area.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
