We have an immediate need for a Service Valet / Pickup and Delivery. The position is full-time and may require Saturday work.

You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties as it relates to the maintenance and service of vehicles; see the day-to-day responsibilities section for a more detailed description.

This position interacts daily with our Service Advisors, Service Managers, Sales Associates, Sales Managers, support staff, and customers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include :

• Assist with service write-ups and tagging of customer cars and trucks
• Remove vehicle protective coverings and ID tags prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
• Inspect vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer, and report any damage immediately
• Perform deliveries as required
• Take Service Customer vehicles into carwash
• Return vehicle keys to the appropriate service consultant
• Pick up parts from the Parts Department
• Test batteries of customer vehicles in service drive
• Maintain building and grounds as needed
• Assist with shop clean-up and deliveries as needed
• Keep Service Lane clear, park customer cars
• Retrieve customers cars and deliver to the service department
• Pick up customers or business cars as needed at home or place of business, to bring in for Service and redeliver when finished.

Requirements of this job include :

Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information

Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated customer service skills

Must have a valid driver's license

Ability to operate an automobile

Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
