At Heritage Pointe, we believe that great care begins with great people. We're looking for a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our team and play a vital role in supporting resident wellness, comfort, and dignity in a long-term care environment.
What You'll Do :
- Safely administer medications and treatments within the QMA scope of practice
- Monitor resident responses and report changes to licensed nursing staff
- Perform vital signs, blood glucose testing, oxygen saturation checks, and other delegated tasks
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly with residents and team members
- Support resident independence and promote a respectful, compassionate environment
- Assist with minor treatments such as wound care, dressing changes, PRN medications (with nurse authorization), and specimen collection
- Respond to resident needs with professionalism, empathy, and urgency
Who You Are :
A State-certified QMA in good standingKnowledgeable in medication administration, side effects, and safety protocolsDetail-oriented, observant, and committed to documentation integrityAble to work independently while taking direction from licensed staffEmotionally mature, dependable, and dedicated to maintaining resident confidentialityPhysically capable of performing the demands of the role (standing, lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, etc.)Why Join Us?
