JOB SUMMARY : The Certified Pharmacy Technician works under the lead supervision of a Pharmacist to provide services to Pharmacy customers. The Pharmacy Technician supports the Pharmacist in providing Pharmaceutical Care. Receive written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate. Collect / enter appropriate method of payment from patrons for prescriptions, OTCs and non-pharmaceutical products purchased. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Answers telephones, responding to questions or requests. JOB REQUIREMENTS : Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college) MINIMUM 2 YRS EXPERIENCE AS PHARMACY TECH preferred Maryland Board of Pharmacy Technicians required.
