The Auto Club Group is seeking Life Insurance Specialists who will customarily and regularly be engaged in outside sales activities away from their assigned AAA branch (or away from their remote office if working remotely). You will be challenged to drive new business with competitive products and help retain The Auto Club Groups 14+ million members.
Making connections with persons physically outside of the office, such as visiting businesses, retail or office locations, real estate agents, mortgage companies, or other partners where a customer referral network and relationships can be createdAttending AAA sponsored marketing events to further sales effortsParticipation in local activities, such as charity, school, community, or sporting events to leverage as marketing opportunities and to generate potential prospectsPhysical interaction and representing AAA within the community by wearing AAA apparel, exchanging business cards, garnering attention of prospects and generating interest in those who could do business as an AAA customer of mine today or in the futureProspecting (excludes work from assigned office location, to include home office if applicable) for new Discounts & Rewards partners, Group Membership opportunities, Approved Auto Repair locations, or Join2Give organizations, to name a few to help develop new customersSchedule follow-up appointments conducted in person, outside the branch or home officeSolicit and sell Life and Health products under minimal supervisionLearn various product features and marketing and sales techniques necessary to perform dutiesDevelop leads and prospects new accounts through various marketing activities (mailings, referrals, networking, website, sales.com, seminars, etc.)Successfully complete commission validation programDevelop leads and prospects for the purpose of conducting fact finding interviews to determine needs for coveragePrepare proposals, and conduct closing interviews for Life and Health Insurance salesComplete appropriate applications and forms and follows internal processing procedures to ensure transactions are handled in accordance with company policies and practicesWork collaboratively with others in the Branch to reach business goals, maximize leads, sales opportunities and take advantage of cross-sell opportunitiesAssist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments in satisfying requirementsRespond to customer inquiries and problems and ensure sound-sales practices are usedPrepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities and maintains specified production standards and persistency levels for Life and Health insuranceWhat It's Like to Work for The Auto Club Group :

Required Qualifications :
Possession of valid State Life Sales licensesAbility to take and pass LUTC or CLU courseworkMaintain Life and Health licenses required to sell productsPossession of a valid State driver's licenseMust qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and / or servicing Auto Club Group Membership productsEducation :
High School diploma or equivalentWork experience :
Minimum of 2 years' experience with a proven record of successfully soliciting and selling life insurance productsExperience selling intangible productsSuccessful candidates will possess :
Strong working knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuity products and servicesAbility to listen to and analyze customer needs and make recommendations to customers that best fit customers' needs and to promote a positive Member experienceEffectively communicate complex information with prospective clients in a clear mannerAbility to prepare proposals, and conduct closing interviews to sell Life and Annuity products.Assessing and reflecting customer insurance requirements consistent with company standards when writing policiesAbility to perform mathematical calculations to determine premiums and values of Life insurance policiesAbility to build and maintains strong relationships with customersProspecting and developing new sales opportunities and meeting production requirementsAbility to
