Position : PACS Admin

Start date : ASAP

Shift : M-F 8-4

Interview : 1 Virtual Interview

Must have :

  • 2+ years PACS Admin experience
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with combination of- AGFA, Terarecon, Nuance power

Nice to have :

  • Customer Service experience / ability to display good customer service
  • Clinical or Technologist Background
  • IT Certification (networking, hardware, CIIP, CPASS)
  • Service Now experience

    • Job Description :

    As a PACS Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), ensuring the efficient and secure storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical images.

  • Manage and maintain the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) to ensure efficient and secure storage, retrieval, and distribution of medical images.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely solutions to ensure the smooth functioning of the PACS.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of the PACS with other systems.
  • Train and provide support to users on how to use the PACS effectively and efficiently.
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and security of the PACS, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
  • Develop and implement protocols and procedures for the effective use of the PACS.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PACS technology to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of medical imaging technology.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on the performance and usage of the PACS.
  • Maintain inventory and coordinate the procurement of necessary hardware and software for the PACS.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely maintenance and upgrades of the PACS.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and provide optimal solutions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the organization's mission and goals.
