What you'll be doing :

• Perform DOT Safety Functions including Accident Reviews, Annual DQ Reviews, Equipment inspections, and driver HOS / E Log training
• Provide 24 hour On Call Support for Transportation team and Contractors
• Reinforce safety awareness in a manner that promotes cooperation and morale
• Road testing / DOT Qualification of driver candidates
• Perform Safety related retraining for poor performers
• Travel to drop locations to conduct equipment and driver inspections
• Monitor and manage performance CSA and HOS metrics
• Conduct work area / shop inspections and assist with personal injury investigations
