🔹 Job Title : Electroencephalography - EEG Tech

đź“Ť Location : Queens , NY 11432

đź“… Duration : 13 weeks (high extension possibility)

đź•’ Schedule : 8 : 00 AM-4 : 30 PM

Duties :

We are seeking an experienced EEG Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing patients for EEG exams, applying electrodes, operating EEG equipment, identifying and interpreting tracings, and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Prepare patients for EEG procedures and explain the process
  • Apply electrodes and monitor placement for accuracy
  • Operate and maintain EEG and neurodiagnostic equipment
  • Recognize, identify, and interpret EEG tracings
  • Document and prepare exam records in accordance with facility protocols

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 1 year of EEG Technologist experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • Strong understanding of EEG procedures and patient care
  • Familiarity with ABRET or CAAHEP-accredited programs (preferred but not required)
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and
  • 1 year of EEG tech experience OR
  • Certificate of Completion from an ABRET-recognized training program OR
  • Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited EEG program (can substitute for 1 year of experience)

    • Certifications :

    Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
