Information Systems / Technology Services Manager
Location : Nashville, TN 37206
Type : 6-month contract to perm hire w / client
Pay : Up to $70 / hr on contract, then $140k+ conversion (experience dependent)
Schedule : M-F day hours w / Hybrid flexibility 1-2 days a week
Qualifications :
- Education : BA / BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years of technical expertise in one or more specific technologies.
- Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Job Summary :
The Information Systems / Technology Services Manager will lead both the internal IT team and the DevOps / Architect team for our large healthcare client. This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services and infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, and driving innovation across the organization's technology landscape.
Primary Responsibilities :
Manage the delivery of IT services including software, networks, databases, and helpdesk operations.Lead and support the following areas :Helpdesk operations and supportEndpoint management and deploymentMicrosoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure administrationAWS architecture and DevOps practicesSecurity remediation, patching, and compliancePlan, direct, and control resources and initiatives to accomplish strategic objectives.Oversee the use and development of necessary resources and tools.Manage a single application or equivalent capital / responsibility level.Assist in budget development and resource planning.Identify and resolve operational hurdles and technical challenges.Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key business partners.Leadership Responsibilities :
Manage and mentor a team of IT and DevOps professionals.Hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate performance of direct reports.Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.Hands-On Expectations :
Actively participate in technical tasks and troubleshooting.Provide hands-on support for systems, deployments, and infrastructure as needed.Preferred Skills :
Strong understanding of business operations and IT alignment.Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, and AWS environments.Experience with DevOps tools and practices.Solid technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.EEO Employer
