Job Description

Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN / WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.

Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

Requires a bachelor\'s degree in area of specialty and 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• This is a 24 / 7 / 365 position on-site in Abilene, Texas, and includes day / night shift, weekend and holiday work with occasional travel based on business requirements.
• Be able to work on a shift schedule that rotates (8 to 12-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays.
• Data center networking knowledge.
• Experience in Data Center Infrastructure projects.
• 5 year+ experience in Structured Cabling Copper / Fiber and testing of cables.
