Job Title : Punch Press Setup / Operator

Location : Rochester, New York, United States

Employment Type : Full-time

Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Punch Press Setup / Operator to join our team in Rochester, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating punch presses to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities :

1. Set up and operate punch press equipment for various tasks such as blanking, drawing, forming, and perforating.

2. Ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all times.

3. Procure and set up appropriate dies for different materials and tasks.

4. Read and interpret blueprints to manufacture parts accurately.

5. Inspect materials and parts for quality and accuracy using micrometers and other measuring tools.

6. Perform shearing and spot welding operations as needed.

7. Conduct regular maintenance on punch press equipment and keep maintenance logs up to date.

8. Collaborate with quality assurance to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.

9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Ability to read blueprints.
• Fluency in verbal and written English.
• Proficiency in shop math.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Own tools including 6” Verniers, Tape Measure, Ball Peen Hammer, and Set Allen Wrenches.

Pay rate-

17.00 / hourly - 21.00 hourly
