The Oceanic Systems Operating Unit Contracts team is looking for a Principal Contract Administrator / Sr. Principal Contract Administrator to support its Undersea Warfare (UW) portfolio. This position is located full time at the Annapolis campus, next to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

What you will get to do :

• Prioritizing proposal activities and concurrently managing multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
• Identifying contractual risks and implementing appropriate provisions to mitigate them.
• Planning and executing successful contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for contracts and agreements to mitigate risk and achieve financial goals.
• Building and nurturing strong relationships with customers, overcoming geographical challenges to cultivate early trust and intimacy.
• Making timely decisions under pressure and providing guidance while collaborating with various organizations, including technical, program, finance, and global supply chain, for seamless contract administration.
• Acting as the primary interface for customers on contractual issues, ensuring that all contractual obligations are communicated and understood.
• Participating in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, and contract administration activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
• Managing contract changes, fulfilling contract requirements, and maintaining historical information for assigned contracts.
• Reviewing terms and conditions to identify potential risks in areas such as financial terms, acceptance criteria, delivery requirements, and intellectual property, while recommending corresponding risk mitigation strategies.

Primary Level Salary Range : $87,000.00 - $130,600.00 Secondary Level Salary Range : $108,400.00 - $162,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
