Senior Machine Repair Technician

This pivotal role requires an individual with extensive experience in comprehensive industrial maintenance, capable of tackling the most challenging repairs and proactively optimizing equipment performance. You will be instrumental in minimizing downtime, ensuring production continuity, and mentoring less experienced team members in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the diagnosis and resolution of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures on critical production machinery, including advanced CNC equipment.
• Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability and lifespan.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-job training to junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Perform intricate rebuilds of pumps, cylinders, and valves for various systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electric).
• Troubleshoot and maintain sophisticated systems, including robots / gas systems and complex emission control units.
• Oversee and execute specialized tasks such as rigging, precision pipefitting, and the safe handling of industrial gases (oxygen, propane, natural gas change-outs).
• Utilize and recommend enhancements for Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for accurate record-keeping and analysis.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, serving as a safety advocate and performing spill containment duties as needed.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes and procedures.
