Physical Therapy Tech - FT

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing treatment areas and equipment before and after treatment.
• Assisting patients to move from room to room.
• Arranging and filling supplies and laundry.
• Performing clerical tasks to assist Receptionist, such as answering phone, scheduling / rescheduling appointments, filing, entering charges.
• Assist with contacting insurances for benefits, eligibility, and authorizations.
• Handling and assisting patients with necessary paperwork .
• Relay patient information to licensed therapy staff as needed.
• Assist therapist with patient care as directed within the scope of on-the-job training provided.

Minimum Qualifications :

Education : High School diploma or equivalent with some college coursework and prior demonstrable experience preferred.

Experience : Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication and listening skills.
