We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive clinical scheduler to join our team in a long-term care environment. This vital role ensures that our nursing department operates smoothly and efficiently by managing staff schedules with precision and care.
Primary Responsibilities Include :
- Coordinate nurse and LNA schedules to ensure consistent staffing across the Health Center in conjunction with health center leadership
- Provide administrative support to neighborhood teams, including scanning medical records and handling phone coverage.
- Create and distribute shift schedules, ensuring timely and clear communication with staff.
- Maintain and update daily staffing sheets, making adjustments as needed to reflect real-time changes.
- Proactively troubleshoot staffing challenges and implement effective solutions.
- Maintains regular, consistent communication with the Health Services leadership team to align staffing needs and operational goals.
- Adhere to company staffing policies and budget guidelines when assigning staff.
- Demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, foster collaboration, and effectively engage staff during critical staffing needs.
- Cultivate positive relationships with team members to promote high morale and job satisfaction.
- Uphold fairness and impartiality in all scheduling practices, in alignment with company standards
Qualified candidates should have experience with staff scheduling and at least 1 year of experience providing administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Due to our vulnerable resident population the COVID vaccine is highly recommended but not required.
The pay range for this position is $21.75-$26.54 / hour.
(Starting salary is determined based on candidate's experience, education, and relevant skills as well as internal equity considerations.)
