Laboratory Transfer Technician

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a Biorepository company in the Cary area recruit a Laboratory Courier / Driver to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity, working Monday-Friday 7am-4pm. Responsibilities : Driver will assist with collecting, cataloging and storing potentially infectious samples Driver will perform all necessary documentation and paperwork Driver will assist with performing inventory of samples Driver will be required to follow all SOPs, and regulations pertaining to the repository to include HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality Driver will load and unload box truck with 200 lb barrels and bulk dry ice bins Driver will operate company vehicles to pick-up and deliver samples locally Requirement : Candidate must have laboratory, delivery driver, and / or cold storage material handling experience Strong attention to detail required! Candidates must be comfortable working in freezers to retrieve samples Must be comfortable lifting 75+ lbs continuously Must have a valid NC Driver's License and clean MVR Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
