Successful and growing mid-sized North Jersey peer-reviewed accounting firm looking for highly motivated individuals to join our high-net worth and small to medium sized business accounting practice.
Pay : $100,000.00 per year
$5,000-$10,000 signing bonus

Experience : Public Accounting : 10 years (preferred)
Responsibilities :
Applicants should be highly motivated senior level career-oriented accountants with 10 or more years of broad accounting experience.Proficiency in using QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks desktop versions. QuickBooks Pro Advisor a plus.Must be proficient in preparing all business tax returns including 1065, 1120S, and 1120 tax returns, including the ability to track partner and shareholder’s basis.Proficient in preparing high-net worth individual tax returns including inputting complex K-1 forms.Understanding and knowledge of sales tax and payroll tax returns, and basic nexus standards.Preparation and review of high net worth individual and small to medium size business tax returnsKnowledge in gift, estate and tax-exempt entities a plusProfessionally manage all aspects of the client relationshipPrepare financial statements and assist in providing necessary adjustments to clients accounting systems.Client communication and supervising firm staffOffsite work at the client’s locationOther Requirements :
Active CPA License with 10+ years of small to mid-size firm experienceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and time management skillsWillingness to travel to clientsProficiency Accounting / Tax Software (Ultra Tax a plus), and MS Office productsMaster’s degree in accounting or taxation is a strong plus#hc159998
