job_description.job_card.job_descriptionDeliver age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients in an acute care setting Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using the EPIC charting system Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans Provide emotional support and education to families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and home care instructions Respond to emergency situations and initiate life-saving measures as needed Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines Participate in shift handoffs and interdisciplinary rounds Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Active New York RN license Minimum 2 years of pediatric acute care experience Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system (preferred) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient advocacy skills Must be able to adapt to the changing needs of pediatric patients and their families Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA or ARC 401k retirement plan Health Care FSA Vision benefits Dental benefits Retention bonus Medical benefits Referral bonus Sick pay Weekly pay

Position Summary :
