Working Capital Fund (WCF) Financial Operations Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Working Capital Fund (WCF) Financial Operations Analyst  to provide critical financial planning, analysis, and execution support to the SSC Enterprise Space Activity Group. This role is essential to ensuring accurate budget formulation, execution tracking, and cost estimation activities that align with United States Space Force (USSF) acquisition and financial management standards.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of WCF principles , DoD financial systems, and experience supporting budget submissions and program-level financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare, review, and update   Budget Estimate Submission (BES) to support annual and multi-year budget planning.

Track and analyze commitment, obligation, and expenditure data using the official accounting system of record to inform financial decisions.

Utilize USSF financial systems to assist in the preparation, creation, and validation of funding documentation and packages.

Create Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) to support program acquisition reviews and ensure accurate financial planning.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial documents meet all compliance and accuracy standards.

Support financial audits and data calls by providing documentation, analysis, and reporting as needed.

Provide regular updates to leadership on funding status, budget execution, and resource planning.

10+ years  of financial management experience within a Working Capital Fund (WCF)  environment,

OR 5+ years  of experience with one of the following certifications :

Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Strong understanding of federal financial regulations, WCF principles, and DoD budget cycles.

Experience preparing budget submissions and tracking execution data in government financial systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard DoD financial platforms.

Location :  Space Coast, FL (Preferred) or National Capital Region (NCR)

Clearance Required :  Active Secret Clearance
