We are partnering with a leading global investment firm that is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join its Private Equity Finance group in Boston, MA. This role offers strong visibility across the organization and the opportunity to support accounting, reporting, and operational functions for a diverse private equity platform.
Position Overview :
The Senior Finance Associate will take ownership of fund-level accounting and reporting processes while collaborating with senior members of the finance team. Key responsibilities will include :
- Preparing quarterly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Coordinating annual audits and valuation procedures
- Overseeing capital calls, distributions, and cash management activities
- Assisting Investor Relations with limited partner requests
- Supporting documentation and analysis of investment transactions
- Preparing carried interest calculations and related reporting
- Contributing to projects that enhance finance operations and processes alongside senior leadership
Candidate Profile :
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting or private equity / asset management background preferred)CPA (or active progress toward CPA) strongly preferredBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredStrong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracyEffective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and levels of seniorityProactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven team playerHow to Apply :
