As a key member of our nursing team, you will manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care under the guidance of the nurse manager. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality care in alignment with our departmental and hospital policies.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously assess the physical and psychological condition of patients throughout their care journey.
Follow The Westerly Hospital's policies and procedures diligently.
Act as a clinical resource and role model for your peers.
Exhibit respect, dignity, compassion, and professionalism in all interactions, following the principles of Patient Family and Centered Partnership.
Recognize and appreciate the contributions of your colleagues, fostering a spirit of teamwork.
Arrive on time and prepared for your shift, adhering to hospital policies regarding attendance and time-off requests.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
Experience : Previous experience in geriatric psychiatry and hospital settings is preferred.
Licensure : Current Rhode Island nursing license, BLS certification required, and CPI training within one year of employment.
Special Skills : Previous experience in geriatric psychiatric care is a plus.
