Job Description

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for mixed commercial construction projects.

\n

  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to understand scope and requirements.

    • \n

  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure cost accuracy.

    • \n

  • Source and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing for materials and services.

    • \n

  • Monitor market trends and adjust estimates to reflect current pricing conditions.

    • \n

  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.

    • \n

  • Maintain organized records of all estimates, budgets, and proposals.

    • \n

  • Support the team in achieving project cost objectives and deadlines.

    • \n \n

    A successful Estimator - Mixed Commercial should have : \n

  • A strong background in construction cost estimation, preferably within mixed commercial projects.

  • Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software and tools.

    • \n

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

  • A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends.
