About the Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of AIX and Linux systems supporting the Financial Institutions Group. You will ensure system reliability, performance, and security across a 24 / 7 operational environment.

You'll play a key role in managing infrastructure components, troubleshooting system-level issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical applications.

What you will do

• Manage and maintain AIX and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues, including hardware, OS, and network-related problems
• Implement and maintain system monitoring tools and processes to proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams to deploy and maintain system configurations
• Automate system administration tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for infrastructure and application related issues
